APA Consulting loves to produce fashion events and shows for our clients, charity and just for fun! It started as Fashion Events by Allison and now is just Fashion Events by APA Consulting. We even have our own custom made runways that can be configured in any shape to create an original catwalk. We began the events part of the business's in 2007, our second year of business. We do roughly eleven major events a year, basically one every month. Here is a list of some of the events APA Consulting has developed and produced.

Alajera and Lust 4 Luxe had a private jewelry and purse party in a Newport Coast home. It provided not only sales for the two vendors, but a good networking opportunity for future events in Orange County.
Fashion Week San Diego
Fashion Week San Diego was the first ever Fashion week in San Diego and the world’s First Bi-National Fashion Week. It was the creation of Allison Andrews and was a separate venture from APA Consulting. By default because of Allison APA Consulting was the official host of the event. It was an event that was opens not only industry, but the general public. All designer had to be independent, but established designers from Mexico and the USA. It was a four day event in October 2008. Forecasted to happen again.
Stiletto Evolution Networking Group -1st mixer
Allison Andrews had the pleasure of meeting the co-founders of Stiletto Evolution and aiding them in their first networking event to kick off a great organization that has monthly events still. This event was at the Fleetwood and was a mixer that showcased Fashion Week San Diego Designers and brought the fashion community together. Even a Project Runway designer and his brother showed up.
Ramsden 9th and E
Ramsden 9th and E art gallery asked APA Consulting for a two month period to do a co-op event wear art and fashion collide. The main requirement is all artist and designers were independent and small businesses. Many of the designers show cased were Fashion Week San Diego Designers and Clients of APA Consulting.
Bayley re-grand Opening party
Bayley Boutique expanded merchandise to children’s- Bay B. We came up with a great re-opening party to excite her customers and gain new ones. The best part we tied it into opening day of the Del Mar Races and gave away two VIP passes to Fashion Week San Diego for wearing Del Mar ladies hat. This event had sponsored beverages from Honest Tea, Veev and Le Chef Exotique provided light desserts.
Fashionably Late at the Ivy Hotel in the Gaslamp of San Diego
Fashionably late the month of April was produced by APA Consulting and featured Bayley Boutique in Del Mar. Every Thursday night innovative fashion scenes were created to show off Bayley’s fabulous women’s clothes with the backdrop of the San Diego skyline.
Sexy n’ Sober Event
This one the second charity fashion show APA Consulting did in 2008. Sexy n’ Sober was a fashion fundraiser that all proceeds went to the Sundt Memorial Foundation and Natural High.org. In May 2008 at the Aubergine sexy fashion’s were provided by Christie’s Boutique, Bayley Boutique and Station boutique. The sober sponsors were APA Consulting, Weintraub Media Group, and Simply Fabulous Events.
Ready to Wear event at the Athenaeum
Athenaeum Music and Art Library School and Art Studio hired APA Consulting to throw this ready to wear interactive fashion event in January 2008. The event was based around fashion designers showing how they make their product and allowing guest to try and or make their own creations. Kaurl Strauss provided complementary beer for this event. Many of APA’s Designers and colleagues got to participate in this event.
The soft and hard sides of Fall Fashion @ Bar Basic
November 13th 2007 Fashion Events by Allison presented the soft and hard sides of fall at Bar Basic in the East Village of downtown San Diego. The participants were Rinse Salon, JEP boutique, The Assembly, Facevalue boutique, AKIA boutique, UnSteady, Moxxie Jewelry, and Man-Gear accessories. We had coverage from Rivera magazine and DiscoverSD.com and several local media outlets.
Assembly In Store Event
Holiday event and toy drive for the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation at the Assembly boutique. It was a great night of music; discount shopping and seeing the community bring in toys for children in need.
Red Circle
Saturday October 20th, 2007 at the Red Circle in the gaslamp of San Diego. Boutiques featured on the 22 foot runway were The Assembly, JEP Boutique, and Haute Culture Boutique.
Blue Lotus
Blue Lotus event was on September 17th 2007 at both Parallel 33 and Blue Lotus in Mission Hills. A very intimate event that show cased Moxxie Jewelry, Tatiana Boutique in Del Mar, The Assembly in Hillcrest, Station Boutique in Little Italy, and all guests were entered in a live drawing for a photo framed by Helene Photography.
Run A Way
Run A Way was the first fashion event Allison Andrews of APA Consulting put together in 2007. She even custom made runways in her garage with some great help from friends. Run A Way showcased APA Consulting’s designer and boutique clients. The purpose behind Allison creating this event was to get publicity and marketing for these small businesses that other wise wouldn’t have had the money to pay for that type of promotion they received. The best part was introducing these brands to a new market of customers - the attendees! This event was at maximum capacity in the first hour. Great kick off event for APA Consulting.
